Why copied text has extra line breaks
PDFs store text as positioned lines rather than flowing paragraphs, so every visual line ends in a hard break when you copy it. Pasted into an email or document, those lines don’t reflow and leave a ragged right edge.
Keeping paragraphs
With “Keep paragraph breaks” on, blank lines count as paragraph separators and stay in place. Only the breaks inside each paragraph are removed. Turn it off to merge everything into one block.
Turning a list into one line
Choose “A comma” to turn a one-per-line list into a comma-separated line, for example to paste email addresses or tags into a single field.
