Text you enter

All Wordformat tools run in your web browser. Text you type or paste is processed on your device and is never sent to our servers, logged, or stored by us. Passwords made with the password generator are created with your browser’s secure random number generator and are not transmitted anywhere.

Information stored on your device

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit Wordformat, which tools they use, and how they found the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location (country and city), your device and browser type, and the site that referred you. It does not receive the text you type into our tools. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out on any website by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views and page load performance without cookies and without tracking individual visitors across sites.

Advertising

Wordformat is free because it shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure how ads perform. These cookies may be used to show you ads based on your earlier visits to this site and other websites.

The text you type into our tools is never shared with Google or any advertiser.

You can turn off personalized ads from Google at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of personalized ads from many other companies at aboutads.info (US) or youradchoices.ca (Canada). Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
