About Wordformat

Wordformat is a collection of free text tools for the small jobs that come up every day: fixing text typed with caps lock on, cleaning up paragraphs copied from a PDF, counting words for an assignment, or naming variables in code.

How the tools work

Every tool runs in your web browser. When you paste text into Wordformat, it is converted on your own device and never uploaded to a server. That makes the tools fast, and it means you can safely use them with private documents.

What’s here

There are case converters (sentence case, title case, UPPER CASE, and more), cleanup tools for line breaks, spaces, and duplicates, counters for sentences and word frequency, programmer naming styles such as camelCase and snake_case, Unicode text styles like bold and small caps, Morse code and binary translators, and generators for placeholder text and passwords.
